The 16-19 of July (2008) Stockholm Jazz Festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary in style on the island Skeppsholmen in the heart of downtown Stockholm. During the four-day-long festival, more than thirty artists will perform from early afternoon until long after midnight. With five different stages, TV- and radio coverage, and more than 25 000 people in the audience, the party will be something extraordinary!

Stockholm Jazz Festival is one of the oldest festivals in Sweden, and also one of Stockholm's biggest events. The festival is well known all over the world, and is one of the nicest and well-managed venues in Europe. This reputation is not just built upon the many brilliant musicians who has performed at the festival, but also on its unique and beautiful location - the island of Skeppsholmen.

Joshua Redman, Sting, Lauryn Hill, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Angie Stone, Chaka Khan, Rickie Lee Jones, Jamiroquai, Dave Holland, Al Foster, Youssou N´Dour, BB King, Sun Ra, Ella Fitzgerald, Wayne Shorter, Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, Chet Baker, and Dexter Gordon are just a few of many of the world´s top names who have performed here during all these years.
This year's programme will be released the 24th of April.
